It's almost time!

Guess what!? The new CTMH idea book Fall/Winter 2012 is on its way to my house! I am super excited! I will post a video on the 3rd or 4th and highlight some if my favorites!!! Who's excited for all the holiday paper and stamps they are sure to have!?!???

Saturday mornings!

So today I felt pretty motivated and cooked a great breakfast for my family! I originally saw this idea on pinterest! I quickly read the blog post, an I knew I would be modifying it to suit what I had available.
The original post had this yummy meal in a round cake pan. Well I don't have one, so I improvised.
First things first-
I cooked about 6 sliced if bacon
- then I made scrambled eggs
- between the eggs an bacon I prepared the crescent rolls:
I rolled them out flat and separated them at all the perforations.
I used a cookie sheet with foil on it.
- first I put on a small piece of bacon length wise- sprinkled in some shredded cheese then topped it with a small amount if scrambled egg.
- finally I rolled it up in to a pocket!
I baked mine at 375 for 11 mins.
In retrospect I should have brushed the inside of the dough with butter before adding stuff. I'll try that next time.

Update!

So, I have been preparing to film a few videos so I have them ready instead of doing them every week. Especially because today I am going for a oral surgery consult! I am having so many problems with my teeth and gums. I fear I will be 30 with a full set of dentures at the rate I'm going! Wish me luck and send prayers. Gathering project! Old and new!

So I am having a gathering on Sunday! And I wanted to think out of the box!
I used Mayberry paper, olive card stock, colonial white card stock. And I used the Lucy Workshop stamp in cotton candy and cocoa ink. I used the Art philosophy cartridge to cut out everything!

It's Sunday!

Ok so yea it's Sunday. I have accomplished a little bit today. I filmed and posted a new video on YouTube. Bubbly0409 is my s/n

Update on resolutions

Ok so considering I Didn't blog for a few months you can guess I haven't kept up with my NYR.
Plan a wedding for under $3000 (kinda)
-We eloped but the trip and our upcoming reception will total more than $3000.
Have Abbi potty trained by June.
-I have tried time and time again. I purchased a book "toilet training in less than a day" I'm still reading but really hoping we will accomplish this by years end.
Blog weekly.
-we know that didn't happen, but I'm getting back on the bandwagon so here we go!
Read 5 books.
-I am reading the potty training one.and plan to start another soon.
Sew 1x per month.
-I am ashamed to say I have only used my sewing machine 1x this yr. I had to fix the hubs pants.
Purge 2 items per month.
-Well I haven't done this consistently, but I have gotten rid of a lot of stuff.

I am starting over. Oh, and what a great day to do it! It is my 1 month wedding anniversary! :)

Cards!

Just wanted to share a few cards I have made in the last few weeks. Some of the stamps were CTMH but the paper was not. The Name sign I made was however All CTMH products.

Ok so Major updates! My fiancé and I have eloped. :) it was kinda a planned elopement, but all in all we are now married. So with that out of the way, I wanted to update everyone on what else is happening.
I am so very sorry that I have not blogged in awhile. I was sick, had surgery, and work has been overwhelming. BUT, I am glad to report that I am now a Close to my Heart consultant. Yay!!! I will be posting to YouTube : bubbly0409
And my CTMH site will be listed below along with my etsy shop as a reminder for everyone.

Paper flowers!

I have been doing short easy projects for awhile now because I have felt so overwhelmed but want to stay in the habit of making stuff. I started making these flowers expecting to use them as decor at my wedding. Change of plans. I am not sure what I'm using them for now. I may put them in my etsy shop. I will be adding at least 8 new items next month. I'm working on a V-day mini album kit. I'll post pics of that before I list it in my shop.

Current project....but now I'm sick

Well I had hopes to work on a sewing project today. I cut it out last night. It will be a surprise to you all when I am done. The "fabric" is a vintage sheet I got at the salvation army a few days ago.

An ATC

Ok so just a quick post of an ATC I made a few days ago. I felt inspired so just whipped this up in about 5 mins.

New Year, new ideas!

Happy New Year everyone! First off, I am resolving to post regularly. I am off to a good start, except that I don't really have a project or any tips. I am getting married in May and so that leaves me 5 months to plan a wedding on a $0 budget. So far we have our wedding bands which we paid less than $75 for both. I love sales by the way. We have decided to do brunch as the reception to keep it very inexpensive. It's going to be a very small intimate ceremony with less than 45 people. I am running into a wall with trying to find a venue that is small, and will allow us to bring in our own caterer. I am hoping to go to a bridal expo this coming weekend so maybe I will find something.

I guess this post has turned into a rant but I will leave you with this picture of my resolutions for 2012.

Birthday/Holiday Cheer

Hello everyone. I'm not sure how many, if any, people still read this, but hey I'll keep posting. I am now 27, getting closer and closer to 30. YIKES! I actually got carded when buying cold medicine on my birthday. Talk about a confidence boost. I got to use my sewing machine. I ate ice cream cake, and just relaxed, and tried to enjoy the day as much as I could. I have been super stressed out, so it was hard to just put it all aside. Still waiting for snow to top off the holiday cheer. All of our gifts are wrapped and I even gave the bf an early gift....

It was a wedding band with a note that read, "let's set a date already!" and so we are aiming for late October early November 2012. I have a "non-existent" budget because we have NO money saved. In addition to trying to post a crafty idea at least weekly I am going to update everyone on my "cheap" yet tactful wedding!

Uninspired/ unmotivated

Unfortunately I have not been doing much in the way of craftiness. I have been very lazy and busy with my daughter when I'm not lazy. But I am taking this opportunity to talk a little about me and my life.
I currently live in Eastern PA but I am from Northern NJ. I live with my Boyfriend fiancé whatever you want to call him. We have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter together. I work in Human Services and he just finished school. We are hoping to purchase a house within the next 2 yrs. Not sure where, we may go to another state. Money is tight all the time, we do our best.
Things are not always easy, in fact most of the time they are pretty hard. But yea didn't realize how tired I was until now... So I will sign off and next post will be a project I promise! Got this picture off Pinterest.

Just wanted to post a few pics of stuff I'm doing. I doing a paper bag album for a friend and the skull is for that and then I also started my Christmas cards!!!

First decoden project

Hey, I finally did my first decoden. I was happy with it. I chose a strange box tho.. I used a clear recipe box. Other than that it's not bad for a first try.

Starting again...deco-den

Ok so i am really trying to get back on the bandwagon... welll "on" because i never really got on in the first place. Starting in October I am REALLY going to try my hardest to get this blog going. I am going to charge up my ipod and post pics of my creations. i have been crafting but not posting and i really feel bad. not sure if i still have followers but please comment so I know i have an audience. I have recently discovered deco-den! I have some of the materials i need to start but i am putting off doing it until i get back from my mini-vaca next weekend! Going out-of-state for my friends wedding! So Expect great things from me SUN or MON. next week( depends when i get back) because i might be meeting my future father father-in-law depending on time. Wish me luck!
